Martin Romančík, graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava in 2000. After graduation, he commenced compulsory military service. Since 2002 he has been working at University Hospital in Bratislava, currently as a Consultant Urological Surgeon. In 2006 he was board certified in Urology and Intervention Ultrasonography. His main interests include Functional Urology and Oncourology. In 2008 he defended his disertation thesis entitled „Influence of VLPP on the Outcomes of TOT Implantation“ and was conferred the degree of PhD. In 2009 he was certified in Oncourology. In 2014 he attended 3-months Clinical Fellowship at the Bristol Urological Institute in Bristol, UK.
Martin Romančík is an author or co-author of more than 100 scientific papers, posters and lectures both from Functional Urology and Oncourology. He was awarded several times with the prize for the „Best Paper“ published in urological literature by the Slovak Urological Society, „Best Poster Presentation“ by the Czech Urological Society and the European Association of Urology. He is a member of the SUS, EAU and ICS.
